Lupe Fiasco Having Issues With Atlantic Over Food & Liquor II

Lupe Fiasco finds himself in the same predicament over the release of his forthcoming album, Food & Liquor II, as he did with Lasers last year.

In a recent interview with The Boombox, Chicago rapper Lupe Fiasco explains that he is waiting on Atlantic so he can complete F&L2:

“The ‘Lupe [Fiasco's Food & Liquor II]‘ album is [coming out] hopefully. It’s not on me.”

Lu adds that Atlantic’s business practices haven’t changed:

“It’s not done yet. I’m waiting on my record company, ain’t nothing changed. Same business, it’s on them.”

Lupe Fiasco is still Elite, His Lyrical content has not died any. You can tell me you hate the beats on FOTP sucked all you want but his flow was sick. Lupe is still the best rapper in the buissness. and his ideology is not wrong. Everybody should stop comparing tupac and Lupe Fiasco cause their not the same. Tupac was an ignorant asshole who ruined his own credibility by acting like a retart. Lupe Fiasco acts like a respectful professional. I wasn’t serious about the Titans I was just jelly and wanted to mess with you cause if the Jets won yall would’ve made the playoffs (I think, at least). I did see Locker against the Saints and that was impressive, but I was cheering against you guys because at that point the Jets hadn’t choked their season away. I don’t know if he’ll be top 5 or the next Steve Young, I guess the media has just been ignoring him cause I didn’t see much to say. They probably could’ve afforded to play him more than they did. When I saw Hasselbeck he didn’t look like anything special, but maybe they’ll play Locker more next season.
