Yesterday in Memphis at The Beale Street Music Fest, Fuse caught up with Lupe Fiasco and he revealed some details about his forthcoming album, Food & Liquor 2: The Great American Rap Album.

As the Chicago rapper spoke on what will be his 4th studio album, he confirmed speculation that it will be a double album, which will be broken up into 2 parts, part 1 and part 2.

“It’s actually a part 1 and part 2, it’s a double album.”

Lupe says with this album, he’s taking it back to the same frame of mind he had when he did Food & Liquor.

“The music we put on the original Food & Liquor that the hardcore fans appreciated, we’re bringing it there, and put it o this record, but to the 10th power.”

Lupe also revealed to Fuse that the first single from the album will be released on May 22nd.
