Back in May, Atlanta rapper Ludacris announced the release date for his forthcoming album Ludaversal as September 11th. Following the announcement of the release date, Luda dropped the albums lead single “Jinglin,” which never picked up steam and led to the album being put on hold.

Up until this point, there has been no word of a new release date for Ludaversal until now as Ludacris reveals plans of an early 2013 release for what will be his 8th studio album.

Yesterday, Ludacris stopped by Atlanta’s Hot 107.9 to premier his new single “Representin” featuring Kelly Rowland. While on the air, Luda revealed plans of an early 2013 album release, as he said:

“You’re gonna hear a lot more records from the Ludaversal album, coming first quarter next year.”
