Lil Wayne caused much controversy, and even lost his endorsement deal with Mountain Dew for a lyric he rapped on Future’s “Karate Chop (Remix).” On the song, Wayne spit, “beat that pussy up like Emmett Till.” Now, during a weekend show in Nashville, Tennessee, Lil Wayne turned his disrespectful line into an apology to the family of Emmett Till.

Instead of his offensive lyric, Wayne now raps, “I apologize to the family of Emmett Till.”
