After being released from a Louisiana State Penitentiary just over one day ago, It appears that Lil Boosie has inked a deal with Atlantic Records.

According to a media invite that has hit the net, and a newly launched website, BoosieSpeaks.com, Lil Boosie is scheduled to give a press conference on Monday, March 10th in New Orleans at 2PM EST.

The flyer and website has the Atlantic Records logo on it, which suggests that the Baton Rouge rapper has signed a deal with the imprint, and will announce his new venture during the press conference, which will also be his first public appearance since being released from prison.

To add, a representative for Atlantic Records gave a statement to NOLA.com about the flyer featuring the logo for Atlantic, but would not comment as to whether or not Lil Boosie had inked a deal with the label while stating the rapper will clear all that up during Monday’s press conference.

The rep for Atlantic stated:

“(Lil Boosie) is actually going to be clearing all that stuff up for everybody there, so I’m going to let him relay that information.”

Stay tuned to Def Sounds and we will keep you updated when or if we get confirmation of Lil Boosie’s deal with Atlantic Records.

Update: I came across this interesting write-up on Boosie, which briefly addresses the possible Atlantic deal, and much more, from the Washington Post titled “The return of Lil Boosie — and what to expect when your favorite rapper comes home from prison,” that you can check out [here].
