The first week numbers for KiD Cudi’s sophomore album, Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager are in, and according to the Nielsen SoundScan Cudder is the highest selling Hip Hop representative this week coming in at number 3 on the Billboard charts in his opening sales week.

Last week Hits Daily Double projected CuDi’s sales ranging between 180,000-220,000, although the Cleveland MC didn’t quite hit them numbers he did manage to move 169,400 units.

Other chart debuts this week include Cee Lo Green’s Lady Killer. which took the No. 9 spot moving 41,400 units. Twista’s The Perfect Storm came in at the No. 42 spot with 14,100 units moved, and to wrap things up in Hip Hop sales this week, Joe Budden’s critically acclaimed Mood Muzik 4 only sold 6,100 units.
