Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, Jay Rock & Ab-Soul Sign Deal With Interscope/Aftermath

The TDE CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith has announced that Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, Jay Rock and Ab-Soul have inked a new deal that is a joint venture between Interscope Records and Aftermath Entertainment.

As FADER reports, Kendrick Lamar’s upcoming album will released through Top Dawg, Aftermath and Interscope while future releases from Schoolboy Q, Jay Rock & Ab-Soul will be released through Top Dawg and Interscope.

More details on the deal will be announced via the TDE CEO soon.

      No one said its one of the best albums ever, but definitely one of the best of the past year tho. And he’s definitely one of the best new artists out there. I don’t see how you can describe him as mediocre when he can and rap circles around pretty much any currently “hot” rapper out.         another good listen and it was growing than I originally

This is exciting, however, Aftermath is more known for shelve people like it’s an old cabbage patch kids doll. I’m sure production with dr. dre would be ill, but I’m not expecting any big changes any time soon. Aftermath & Jimmy Ivene better learn how to put out artist again & fast otherwise i’m losing interest, fast.
