During a recent interview with Wild 96.5, Kanye West revealed that he signed a new deal for his clothing line. At the time of the announcement, Ye said he couldn’t make known who the deal was with, but now we get speculation that the deal is with Adidas’ high-end line Y-3.

According to FSD, who was in the building last night for Kanye’s Brooklyn show, during his rant, Ye confirmed that he inked a new deal to put out his clothing line.

Kanye stated:

“You see me in interviews how I want to do clothes… I want to let you know I signed my deal a week and a half ago”

Here is where the rumors come in, according to a report by KicksOnCourt, Kanye’s new deal is with Adidas’ Y-3, a high-end line by designer Yohji Yamamoto, and the Chicago rapper’s clothing line will be called “YEEZI” by Kanye West.

Now, we have the question: What will happen to Kanye’s Yeezy 2 “Red October” shoe that is slated to release with Nike if the deal with Y-3 is in fact true? Different reports suggest that the shoe will still release, but nothing is concrete, as Ye is under contract with Nike to drop the shoe. It looks like only time will tell.
