It looks like Kanye West’s next album will be releasing sooner than expected as the Chicago rapper has postponed the Australian leg of his Yeezus tour to finish recording the album.
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Ye put his Australian tour dates on hold in order to wrap up his forthcoming album, which is reportedly being produced by Rick Rubin and Q-Tip.
It was also noted that the album, which is still untitled, will be released in mid-2014, so it looks like Yeezy may be planning for a hot summer.
Live Nation Australia released a statement announcing the postponed Yeezus tour:
”Due to unexpected timing requirements to finish his highly anticipated new studio album, scheduled for a 2014 release, Kanye West regretfully announces the postponement of his upcoming tour dates in Australia.”
The cancelled May dates have been rescheduled for September, and you can view the new dates below.
