Earlier this month, Kanye West raised much speculation that his upcoming, still untitled album would be released in June when he tweeted the cryptic message “June Eighteen.” The tweet from Ye came just days after it was revealed that his new album was complete.

Following the tweet of the cryptic message, we got even more reason to believe that Ye’s new album would be released on June 18th as Japanese retailer HMV posted the release date on their site, earlier this week.

Now, following the debut of the video for the song “New Slaves” on building fronts across the world, we get confirmation of the album title and release date.

According to Rap-Up, who received confirmation, Kanye West’s sixth studio album will be titled Yeezus, and it will indeed be released on June 18th.

Kanye West will return to Saturday Night Live tonight as the musical guest for SNL‘s season finale. Maybe we’ll get verbal confirmation of the title and release date from Ye tonight as well.
