As it has been reported multiple times, J.Cole and Kendrick Lamar would release a collaborative project, but we never got official confirmation until now as Cole has confirmed a joint project with Kendrick Lamar is definitely in the works.

In a recent interview with Bootleg Kev on Vegas’ Hot 97.5, J.Cole confirms that he and K Dot have started recording the collaborative project, as he says:

“I just started working with Kendrick the other day. We got it in, finally, again. It’s gonna be an album, man.”

Cole adds:

“We actually worked, bouncing ideas, which was great. The vibe was so good that it was like, man, that’s absolutely gonna happen.”

The NC rapper speaks on the progress of the joint album:

“We got maybe four or five [songs] together.”
