First release…..independent is always better….
It’s not always better.
All Eminem albums > Infinite.
Most eminem albums > Recovery
Is Kendrick Lamar too big to feature on his album? Wtf..
where did you read that Kendrick was asked to feature on this project? TDE doesn’t revolve around Kendrick Lamar, these other artists want to make their own name..
Naw F the B.S. you’re right bro, where the F is he at? Big Sean can get a feature, but not his own label mate?!
you like kendrick? play his shit then. this is someone else and he doesn’t want his whole album being overshined by a fucking guest verse
Whole album being over shadowed? Wtf are you talking about bro?
Kendrick Lamar is his label-mate and probably close friend/guidance, who happens to be one of the most commercially relevant and critically acclaimed artist right now. If anything, Isaiah would get a boost, a catapult from his feature. His own material would sound better if he had someone like K.Dot on it. It’s like playing on the same team as a superstar… your own game improves.
And plus, every young rapper needs a big name to give their career a boost. 50 Cent had Eminem. Kanye had Jay-Z. And Eminem & Kendrick Lamar too had Dr. Dre. A Kendrick feature would get people talking about Isaiah Rashad, and he’d have an opportunity to shine.
Everyone would just get the album because kendrick is on there, listen to it, only talk about the verse, forget about it, and hop on to next bandwagon.
All the commercial marketing is really a bullshit and you are clearly a victim to it. Just because they are on same label doesn’t mean they really even know each other.
Remember any up and coming artists that got Wayne features when he was poppin’? yeah me neither
Also Kanye, 50, Eminem and Kendrick were making music on their own long before getting support from major artists.
If you are making real music then you need to build up your own core fanbase, when you have that, only then you can get the bandwagoner’s attention, and also their money. smh
