Ice-T recently sold the rights to his film “Something From Nothing: The Art Of Rap” after showing the documentary at the Sundance Film Festival.

Ice-T sold rights of the film to worldwide distributor The Indomina Group for distribution. Plans of the theatrical release are set for this summer.

“It was important to us to get with a company that has as much passion about ‘Something from Nothing: The Art of Rap’ as we do and that company is Indomina,” said Ice-T. “They are a fantastic partner and a great company. We look forward to working with them and releasing this film to the world.”

The film is described as “a performance documentary about the runaway juggernaut that is hip-hop,” with guest appearances from well known hip-hop artists such as Kanye West, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and Chuck D.
