Ice Cube Speaks On Timeframe For Release Of New “Friday” Film, Rumors Of Chris Tucker Returning To The Cast

Late last year, Ice Cube confirmed that the fourth film in the Friday series was in the works, and over the summer, the west coast vet revealed that the script for the movie was just about complete. Now, Cube gives an update on the highly anticipated film, which is expected to be titled Last Friday and also addresses speculation of Chris Tucker returning to the cast.

During a recent interview with TheWellVersed, Ice Cube spoke on the status of the new Friday film.

Ice Cube states:

Ahh man, you know it’s coming. We’re marinating on it, putting it together

The rapper/actor adds when asked if the movie or his new album, Everythang’s Corrupt, will be released first:

Probably my next album will be done quicker than the Friday movie. We just turned in the scripts, so it’s going to take a couple of more months to put it together.

When asked if Chris Tucker will be part of the movie, Cube states with a smile:

I don’t know, you’re gonna have to ask Chris.
