Last night at the King Of The Mic’s Tour in Cali, Ice Cube blasted Dwight Howard and his decision to leave Cube’s home town Lakers and sign with the Houston Rockets.
As reported by BallOverall, in between performances of his “What Can I Do (Remix),” and “You Know How We Do It,” the legendary west cost emcee stopped the show and went in on Dwight “Coward.”
Fuck Dwight Howard, goddamn it. We love LA! We don’t need no punk-ass muthafuckas on our team. We don’t give a fuck about a Dwight Coward. We don’t need no bitches on our team, homie. You don’t deserve to go up on that goddamn wall. So, I predict tonight Kobe [Bryant] will win another championship before Dwight Howard ever sniffs one.
Update: Footage of Cube blasting D-12 hits the net.
Another Cali Hip Hop artist and Laker fan, Game also had some words for D-12, as he told TMZ he’s gonna burn his Dwight jersey.
Game said fans shouldn’t burn their jerseys: “You cut it in half, you don’t burn it, we don’t want you lighting your house on fire.” The reporter asked if Game planned to cut his own Howard Lakers jersey in half like he told the fans to do, but Game said he’s burning it. “Nah, I’m burning my sh**! Laker Gang.”
