Wu Tang Clan’s GZA will release a double disc box set of his 1995 classic album Liquid Swords as part of a series called the “Masters Series.”

The Liquid Swords box set will contain a bonus disc of the albums instrumentals, an exclusive chess set, and will also include liner notes that are written by GZA himself.

On top of the double disc chess box, the label is releasing the album instrumentals on vinyl in separate packaging as a double-LP set, one with black vinyl, and another on white vinyl, with silk-screened jackets by ANTI design.

The re-issue of Liquid Swords will be released on July 24th via Get On Down/ Geffen Records.

Get On Down Records has had their hand in previous Wu Tang re-issues, as in 2011 they released Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s Return To The 36 Chambers deluxe reissue with wallet and ID card, and they also dropped re-releases of Ghostface Killah’s classic albums, Supreme Clientele and Ironman.
