It was previously reported that an arrest warrant was issued for Gucci Mane’s arrest for allegedly assaulting a U.S. soldier in an Atlanta nightclub. Now, Gucci has been reportedly arrested on aggravated assault charges.

As reported by 4UMF News, Gucci Mane has been arrested for the alleged assault of a U.S. Soldier.

As of press time, the Atlanta rapper being placed under arrest is the only detail that has been made available.

At the time of the initial report, a soldier stated that he was assaulted by Gucci Mane as he asked to take a picture with the rapper.

I’m in the military. I wanted to get a picture with Gucci Mane, is it OK? I was speaking to the security guard, and Gucci Mane hit me in the head with a bottle… And as I looked at him in the shock of why, one of his friends hit me in the side of my face.

Update: Contrary to original reports, Gucci Mane was not booked into jail until last night, Tuesday, March 26th.

As reported by Atlanta’s NBC 11, Gucci Mane was booked into the Fulton County Jail Tuesday night and charged with aggravated assault with a weapon.

Gucci is scheduled to appear in court today to face the charges.
