Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane has reportedly been released from prison on Saturday, June 2nd.

The 31 year old rapper has been incarcerated since April on a probation violation stemming from charges of battery, reckless conduct and disorderly conduct for allegedly pushing a woman out of his Hummer as he drove down a suburban Atlanta street in January of this year.

It had been recommended that Gucci be sentenced to 17 months in prison for the probation violation, but his attorneys were able to convince the judge to give the rapper a shorter sentence, so instead of the 17 months Gucci served just short of 3 months.

Gucci Mane had been on probation since 2005, now his sentence will be complete as it was reported that at the end of this prison term he would no longer be on papers.
