Just two months after being released from jail, Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane is sentenced to serve 6 months behind bars on battery charges.
Gucci Mane appeared in a DeKalb County Ga court today, and he pleaded guilty to battery charges stemming from an incident this past January when he intentionally pushed a women out of a moving car.
Gucci was facing two counts of battery, two counts of reckless conduct, and one count of disorderly conduct.
Due to the guilty plea, Gucci was sentenced to 3 years and 6 months, but will only have to serve 6 months behind bars and the remaining 3 years he will be on probation.
The Atlanta rapper was also ordered to pay a $3000 fine, complete 12 weeks of anger management classes, and is forbidden to contact the victim. He is also ordered to pay $5,090.54 in restitution to the victim for her medical bills.
Gucci Mane was immediately taken into custody and remains at the DeKalb County Jail.
