As Def Sounds previously reported, following Gucci Mane’s court date earlier this week where he was indicted on aggravated assault charges, the judge in the case set a $75,000 bond.

At the time of the initial report, Gucci’s lawyer, Drew Findling, said the rapper will post the 75k bond in Fulton County, and then he will be transferred to DeKalb County, where he will remain behind bars as a result of his probation for an unrelated misdemeanor charge.

Now, the rapper has been officially arrested on the probation violation, and is currently incarcerated in DeKalb County.

According to TMZ, just one day after Gucci Mane was released from custody, he is back behind bars on a probation violation.

Law enforcement sources tell the publication that the probation violation is unrelated to the recent aggravated assault charge. We believe the violation of probation is a result of the previously noted misdemeanor charge, where Gucci Mane was sentenced to 36-months probation on a battery charge.
