As Game gears up to release his forthcoming album, Jesus Piece on December 11th, he has bigger things in mind as he has revealed that he and Stat Quo have joined forces to launch a new record label, Rolex Records.
During a recent interview with Billboard, Game announced his new label.
Game said of his new venture:
I just started a new record label, Rolex Records, and we’re going to get off the ground and see if we can move
Game explains linking up with Stat Quo for the new imprint:
He was signed to Aftermath with me in the beginning. Now we’re business partners, which is cool because he was a good friend of mine and he’s just as equally music smart so we’ll see how it goes.
With Jesus Piece being Game’s final album on Interscope, he confirms to that he is planning to use the label as an outlet to put out his new music, as he says:
“That is the idea behind it.”
We’ve been up and running for about 30 days. We’re gonna do it big though.
Game also noted that are no immediate plans to sign any new artists to the label at this time.
