G.O.O.D. Music’s “Cruel Summer” Artwork Revealed

Kanye loves big titty women, this is like the good friday covers all over again.

We’ve come a long way from just waiting for rappers to drop their album, cop it, bring it home with so much anticipation, struggle for about a minute trying to unwrap it(sometimes even crack the cover in doing so), put it in the cd drive, listen to it in its entirety since over half of the songs hadn’t already leaked, listened again and pass judgement. To me, rap listeners have become what the movie “Idiocracy” message was. We’ve become so dumb it’s like we don’t know how things were so we accept whatever B.S they feed us. Now it’s becoming an even when rappers release album covers or track list or list of producers who worked on the album, separate list of high profile features, let’s not forget the press conference to give credits to the engineers, the weed guy and the “who the f is that guy in the entourage and what’s his purpose?” The sad part is some look at these covers and track listings and have the audacity to say “it looks like a classic album”

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but 9 out of 10 times, the only time you use to hear word about an album cover from rappers in the 90s or late 80s is when record companies use to not want to allow the art work to be the cover. Now it’s an event?

It fits right in with rappers debuting verses. VERSES. WTF. And we welcome such laziness with open arms. What’s next? Tweeting a few BARS and call it a wrap?
