In other G.Dep related news: Dep says that he is being tied to the wrong murder, and is hoping for a not guilty verdict from the jury in his case.
As reported by the New York Post, the former Bad Boy rapper hopes that the jury will find reasonable doubt in his case, as he says the state has him tied to the wrong murder.
G. Dep’s hope for the jurors siding with him comes from several inconsistencies the state has to the victims description, and the description he gave, as Dep described the victim as being a clean-shaven blonde man in a green plaid jacket, while the prosecutors claim the victim was a man with brown hair and a beard and was not wearing a green plaid jacket.
Prosecutor David Drucker told jurors: “there are no other homicides even close to fitting the description,” as he addressed the claims of Dep saying he is tied to the wrong murder.
If found guilty G. Dep will serve at last 15 years in prison.
