Forbes recently compiled its list of the Future 400 Entrepreneurs that they think have the potential to earn billions, and Bad Boy CEO Diddy was the only Hip Hop related person on the list, not even Jay-Z made the cut.

In Forbes’ belief, Diddy has gotten involved in business ventures and partnerships so smart that they could see his net worth, which is currently standing at $550 million, expand past the $1 billion mark.

According to Forbes, whether or not Diddy hits that billion mark all rests his deal with Ciroc Vodka which is on track to move more than 1 million cases by the end of this year. Due to a deal with the Ciroc producer, Diddy gets a 50/50 take of all profits made through the vodka company, and that should make his net worth explode.

Other names not mentioned in the Future 400 Entrepreneurs list, as aforementioned Jay-Z, who is right behind Diddy, but Forbes’ also says Dr. Dre and 50 Cent are the only other Hip Hop related people that are within range of billionaire status.

Another name that was left off Forbes’ Future 400 list is Birdman, and Forbes says that he inst even in range, but the Cash Money CEO disagrees with what the publication has to say.

In an email sent to Forbes, Baby states that YMCMB will be the first billion dollar brand:

“I think Young Money Cash Money would be the first billion-dollar brand in hip-hop. We strong and growing every day as a brand and fast. Within the next few years we will be billionaires.”
