As it was reported earlier in the week, 2 Chainz was robbed at gunpoint in San Francisco. After the initial report, 2 Chainz denied being robbed, and the police issued a statement saying the rapper wasn’t robbed, but it was a member of his entourage.

The statement issued by the SFPS said:
“The rapper was walking with his entourage in the 800 block of Howard Street at about 4:30 p.m. when they were approached by a suspect carrying a handgun, who fired a gunshot. While most of the group scattered, one member of the entourage reportedly fell to the ground and was approached by the suspect, “who robbed him of an unknown item and fled the scene.”
The statement that was issued by the SFPD was true, except for the fact that it wasn’t 2 Chainz who was robbed, as TMZ has obtained footage of the robbery, and the gunman ran up on the rapper and his crew and started to fire shots. While fleeing from the scene, Chainz tripped and the gunman proceeded to rob the rapper.
