The first-week sales estimates for Kendrick Lamar’s major label debut, good kid, m.A.A.d. city, which hit stores yesterday Monday, October 22nd are in.

According to HitsDailyDouble, Lamar’s GKMC is expected to sell just over 200k copies in the first sales week.

If the sales projections hold true, the Compton rappers’ first week sales figures will give him the #2 spot on the charts, as Taylor Swift’s new album Red is expected to sell over 1 million copies and debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 in its first week.
