According to TMZ, a New York judge has thrown out the lawsuit against rapper/singers Drake and Chris Brown stemming from their infamous nightclub brawl last summer.
As previously reported, Drake and Brown were sued for $16 million by Entertainment Enterprises, the parent company of the Greenhouse nightclub in New York City.
Greenhouse, which was adjacent to the W.i.P. nightclub where the brawl occurred, claimed their business and reputation took a massive hit following the incident, primarily due to its’ proximity to the club where the actual altercation took place.
Drake initially responded to the lawsuit, stating it wasn’t his problem due to the fact that he cannot control how the media reports on the incident.
A New York judge today agreed with Drake’s sentiments, as he ruled in favor of Drizzy and Breezy, noting that while nightclub brawls are unfortunate, they are not uncommon, and their particular altercation didn’t even take place on Greenhouse premisis.
The lawsuit was officially thrown out today.
