As previously reported by Def Sounds, DMX was to release a new album titled Undisputed in March, but it turns out the LP will be previously recorded and unreleased material, and not new material as previously believed and will be released sometime in the second quarter of the year, no date has been set of this time.
Seven Arts Entertainment Inc. made an announcement yesterday that they have come to an agreement with David Michery to purchase his music assets, and with the acquisition, it includes two full unreleased albums from DMX. After the acquisition is completed, David Michery will be appointed CEO of Seven Arts Music.
The announcement that Seven Arts made says Undisputed will be the first of the two albums to be released this year from the Yonkers rapper.
Undisputed is slated to hit stores in the second quarter of 2012 through Fontana Distribution, which is a division of Universal Music Group.
Def Sounds will keep you updated when more details surrounding the release of Undisputed come to light.
