R&B superstar Chris Brown recently appeared on Big Boy’s Neighborhood radio show to address a number of hot-button hip-hop rumors.
First up was the discussion about Breezy‘s physical altercation earlier this year with Young Money artist Drake. Brown stated, “The only reason I can’t talk about [Drake] is because we’re dealing with legal stuff. You know I’m trying to get paid and not trying to give out no information. We don’t talk about other guys. We just focus on music.”
When asked directly if Brown or Drake threw the first punch, Brown responded, “Nah. It’s none of that. I’m more reserved and I box. [Laughs] You know exactly what that means.”
Brown also touched on the rumor that Jay-Z confronted him and threatened his career, downplaying the situation entirely. “No. No. No. Me and him had…had…um…It just was a lot of people. It’s like a green room, backstage, you come and say what up to everybody and it was cordial…It was real respectful. It was nothing like that.”
