Big Sean made a notable debut on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart with his Finally Famous LP.
The G.O.O.D Music rapper landed at #3 on the charts, and according to Soundscan he moved 87,100 units, only being bested by British singer Adele who came in at #2, and Beyonce who grabbed Billboard’s #1 spot.
In other Hip Hop sales news, Bad Meets Evil continues to move units as they came in the #9 spot this week moving an additional 42,200 copies of Hell: The Sequel bringing their 3 week total to 275,900 units sold.
Curren$y released his first project under his new imprint Warner Bros, and sold 22,500 copies of Weekend at Burnies in its first week.
For digital only releases, Compton rapper Kendrick Lamar sold 5,500 copies of his debut Section.80, while Lil B’s latest effort, I’m Gay, managed to sell only 1,700 copies.
