There has been much talk of the G.O.O.D. Music camp following up their compilation album Cruel Summer with the Cruel Winter album ever since Q-Tip hinted on the possible album. Since Tip broke the news about the album, Pusha T also gave some insight and he said it was more of a Kanye/Tip thing, but now it seems as if there is more to the album than just a Ye/Tip thing as Big Sean has revealed that he has started to record for Cruel Winter.

During a recent interview with DJ Semtex, Big Sean confirms and addresses recording for the Cruel Winter album.

When asked if there will be a Cruel Winter album, Big Sean confirmed the album as a go, and addressed recording for the album:

Yeah, you’re gonna get it, Pause, You gotta wait and see man, I don’t know. It can’t be Cruel Spring. It’s gotta be in a timely fashion.

The Detroit rapper spoke on recording for the Cruel Winter album and how the track he recorded was so good that he wanted it for his album:

I know I did something for it, for Cruel Winter, and I was like goddamn-it, I might need to cut this for my album because it was really good

He added:

But either way, that’s how “Clique” was, “Clique” was supposed to be for my album and ended up going on Cruel Summer. I was like goddamit. But I’m still on a song with Jay-Z and Kanye, but it originally was going to be my first single for my next album. We got so many singles that it doesn’t even matter.
