As Def Sounds previously reported, NYC rapper Kampane was found burnt up in the back on an SUV in Parumus, New Jersey and the case was still under investigation at the time of the initial report. Now 3 people have been arrested in connection of the murder of the rapper.
Police have arrested Randy K. Manning and two accused accomplices Delroy Clarke, and Natuchka Etienne, and all 3 are being held in connection with the crime.
Manning, who authorities believe shot Kampane in the head in a vacant Englewood home, and proceeded to set fire to the house, and then recovered the rapper’s burnt body the next day, and left it in the rear cargo area of his sports utility vehicle which was later discovered parked on a New Jersey street.
Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli stated that they have “not ruled out the possibility of further arrests, including other(s) who may have been aware of the murder and who may have assisted Manning in its coverup.”
“The shooting may have been related to a dispute or involvement over money,”
Manning is being held on $2 million bail on charges of murder, felony murder, burglary, illegal weapons possession, desecration of human remains, arson, witness tampering and hindering apprehension. While accused accomplice Clarke is being held on $50,000 for allegedly picking up Manning after recovering the burnt body, and Etienne who is Manning’s girlfriend allegedly created a false alibi for Manning is being held on $10,000 bail.
