With the release of 50 Cent‘s first ever Gangsta Grillz mixtape with DJ Drama titled The Lost Tape just a week away, Fif reveals the official cover art for the project.

To get a sneak peak of 50′s The Lost Tape, tune into Hot 97 tonight at 7pm EST as 50 and DJ Drama will join Funk Flex to premier the Gangsta Grillz tape. Click hear for a live stream of Hot 97.

Gangsta Grillz: The Lost Tape drops on May 22nd.

As a 50 fan, I can’t wait and have high expectations. But as a hip hop head, I have a strong feeling this will be a disappointment.
“Remain Calm” was nothing special, a lackluster- low budget beat with lethargic flows from all three of them.
“Girls Go Wild” is a supposed club banger which sounds weird but can get catchy. Still nothing worthy of much praise.
“Riot Remix” was decent. 50 came correct and the beat bangs too. 2 Chainz is just annoying. A definite step up nevertheless.

Then as 50 mentions, there’s no Lloyd Banks and we have Kidd Kidd on multiple songs. There are only about 7-10 more songs so I’m guessing he’s appearing on about 3. I already know those songs won’t be so great. So that leaves us to about 5 or 6 songs that might or might not be hot depending on 50′s lyrics, the beats, and the mixing. Let’s see what happens; I have my fingers crossed.

    That song is so dope. As a fan, there is just so much disappointment when you hear the complete decline in music quality in most of the shit he puts out. “The Big 10″, and Street King tracks were mad nice though.
