As Def Sounds previously reported, earlier this year 2 Chainz was traveling in a white van with six other passengers when Maryland State Police pulled the vehicle over, and the passengers were searched, and 2 Chainz subsequently arrested for possessing marijuana. Now, the rapper had his day in court and was found not guilty.

As reported by TMZ, yesterday in a Maryland courtroom, 2 Chainz was acquitted of all charges associated with his February marijuana arrest as the judge in the case ruled there was not enough evidence to prove the weed found in the rappers’ tour van belonged to him.

At the time of the initial report, much was made over the Maryland State Troopers, who arrested 2 Chainz, wanting to pose for a picture with the rapper as he tweeted “Locked me up and then Wanted pictures smh.” You can view the photo of 2 Chainz and the arresting officers above.
