Update: It’s no longer a rumor, as the cover’s the real deal, and here it is in high quality without MediaTakeOut tags all over it.

I guess the cover that was released with the tracklist the other day wasn’t official, as your favorite media outlet, MediaTakeOut, has released what is said to be Kanye and Jay-Z‘s album cover for Watch The Throne, and you know how reliable they can be, but I think this really is the cover for the anticipated collabo project.

Also MTO is reporting that the cover is made out of metal.

And to continue on a speculated release date for the project, as you know the rumors of a 4th of July release of the album have been shut down, new rumors are circulating that the album will drop in August.

kanyes thinking hes all artistic…really tho these are some of the worst album covers ive seen. those MBDTF ones i thought were horrible. George Condo is the Waka Flocka of the art world in my opinion, and thats coming from an art major.
