    you only say this is “100x better” than bad meets evil because its easy for you to keep up with, just like wayne’s music. You can be as ignorant as you like, but I’m sorry, no one will touch that album lyrically. You try to memorize bad meets evil and you have to work for it. I could spit this after listening to it twice, not taking anything away from j. cole. You’re a prime example for one of bad meets evil’s topics; how they refuse to dumb it down for retards like you. That’s the main reason that album wont get the publicity that you’re favorite rappers get, but I guess you would know this if you actually had listened to the album, or appreciated lyricism and flow, and I dont mean “listen” to the album (which you probably didnt), before you get all defensive, I mean “LISTEN/UNDERSTAND”. I do hope you did listen though, that would just solidify you’re ignorance.

      Joey I like your post but I think you are mistaken. Your not able to recite what Em says because of his rap style. That has nothing to do with understanding his lyrics. Yes, Cole don’t spit that crazy but I can bet you that you won’t get everything that he says. And I say this because for example, most people that didn’t go to school don’t know what Salie Mae is. So you would never pick up on that unless you actually know what it is. Now his Em flow and LYrics are super sick but what your talking about is reciting lyrics. So what you can recite someone’s lyrics, COULD you actually UNDERSTAND what they are saying is the more important thing. Like the GREATEST said “Do niggas listen to music or just skim through it”! REAL SHIT COLE SUMMER!

        I can agree with some of that,but When someone like J. cole writes a 16, compared to eminem writing a 16, em is spitting twice as many words, and probably 3 times the syllables, if not more, and his rhyme schemes are far superior. Its just far more impressive, and while his flow may contribute to the difficulty of memorizing it, that wasnt my main point.

        em’s rhyme schemes are so difficult to mimic let alone recite i am a fan of em he is a big reason as to why i do music and the patterns and words he fits together in one bar sometimes amazes me
        
        when my style seems to stray his direction i cant help but to stop myself and reiterate how and what did i do to get to that and think about it like how does this work and thats just his writing skill
        
        he finds a beat in a beats beat (if you can get that) listen to No Love he is spitting to the peice of the beat that is so faint in the background

        As far as rhyme scheme goes em is the hottest, I just cant relate to him at all, dude is nasty & one of the greatest from straight skill when it comes to rhyming… But em bowed out for a while & these new cats showed there face & gave a breath of fresh air to Rap & Hip-Hop so I think it’s jah like wrong to try to compare them with the greats but also wrong to count them out before they even get a chance like/that the greats did…
